3 System Commissioning & Registration
Upon the first login after system installation on site, the user is forced into the System Commissioning guide, which must be completed before the main Dashboard can be accessed.
When the RMC is powered on for the first time, the system will enter a 'Delivery mode' where the following default options are set:
Input Source A is set to Grid
Input Source B is disabled
Tenant monitoring is disabled
During the System Commissioning, the user will be able to configure the basic settings for getting the system operational and register all installed Converter Units that will communicate with the RMC.
3.1 Site configuration
On the first page of the System Commissioning guide the initial site configurations are finalized before the system is fully operational. Basic settings like site name, site ID, AC power source configurations and battery file must be selected before proceeding (see figure 3.1).
After making a change to a configuration parameter, the 'Save' button for that parameter must be pressed (see figure 3.2).
When all required parameters on this page are configured to satisfaction, press the 'Registration' button on the bottom of the page to proceed to Unit Registration.
3.2 Unit Registration
On the second page in the System Commissioning guide, all connected Converter Units are registered in the RMC. The RMC automatically detects connected unregistered Converter Units and lists them by serial number in a table on the Unit Registration page. To register a unit, press the 'Register' button to the right in the corresponding table row (see figure 3.3).
All connected Converter Units must be registered to complete the System Commissioning process.
When all Converter Units are successfully registered and marked as 'Registered' in the Registration Status column, pressing the 'Refresh' button (see figure 3.4) will end the System Commissioning and take the user to the Dashboard.
